Home > The ways of cleaning Aluminum Cookware

Hard Anodized Aluminum Cookware is one of the best and most popular types of cookware for several reasons. For professional and home chefs, the primary benefit of using this type of cookware is the even heat distribution it offers. You'll find no hot spots on the surface of Hard Anodized Aluminum. This is very important in that the food you are cooking will cook at the same rate regardless where it is positioned in the pan or pot. However, certain research has hinted that aluminum can be a cause of Alzheimer's disease, however, there is no definitive evidence that Aluminum Cookware plays any part in the onset of this ailment. For safety reasons, the use of aluminum pans when cooking very acidic or salty food should to be avoided since low quality aluminum cookware may exude small portions of aluminum as the pans become pitted. At the same time, when you cook, you should pay attention to the Aluminum Cookware’s cleaning process.

First, rinse excess food from the anodized aluminum pan with warm water.

Second, fill the sink with warm water and 1 tsp. dish soap.

Third, wash the cookware in the sink with a sponge. Rinse the cookware and inspect it for burned-on food.

Forth, dampen a cloth with warm water. Sprinkle powder cleanser onto the wet cookware to create a paste. Scrub the cookware in a circular motion to remove all traces of food and stains.

Fifth, rinse the cookware thoroughly with warm water.

Last, dry the anodized Aluminum Cookware with a towel.
